After arriving at the marina fairly early on Friday, we worked for the day as usual, and then Sara joined us for the weekend! Friday night we were super adventurous and went all the way to the restaurant 100 ft from the Marina, Saltwater Grille, which turned out to be a fantastic meal in every way. The wind picked up midway through the meal and we tucked in for what we figured would be a long night of wind/rain, but wasn't that bad in the end. At least, nothing specific to the storm -- this marina turned out to be what's probably the most consistently-waked marina we've ever stayed at. At $4.50/night, that's not ... ideal. So, while the owners and location are great, we'll probably not return to Sunset Marina. But at least we were able to get packages for the first time in almost 2 months, including me receiving a bra from an online questionable retailer, and not the cute little dragon I ordered, 2 months later. So that'll be fun to sort out.

One of the core activities for the weekend was a multi-day Guster-centered concert (alt rock, including Toad the Wet Sprocket). I got tickets for Sat/Sun early in the week, committing myself, while everyone else got tickets for Saturday (Guster's one of my favorite and long-standing bands).

Saturday, the rains disappeared by sunrise, and the ladies did exercising in the morning while I slept, and then we all headed out to lunch nearby at Cafe Louis, Costa Rica/Carribbean cuisine that was unfortunately veeeerrrrryyy slow to come out, but was tasty. Later, we went to an early beer/dinner at the Bissel Bros brewery, right next to the Guster concert, and then we wandered over in time to see Toad the Wet Sprocket play before Guster. Pretty venue with a lovely sunset, good music, good companions, it was a great night.

Sunday, since Sara had a car, we did the requisite Costco and Trader Joe's restocking, conveniently also running across a going out of business sale for an Eastern Mountain Sports store and buying stuff we didn't really need but it's on sale, so oops. Costco was somehow empty on a Sunday mid-afternoon, which was wild. We just walked up to a register and checked out.

After supplies, Russ/Jax went and took a nap while us and Sara headed up to NE to visit some breweries, and had a surprisingly hard time finding NA things for her to drink. We then all reunited to head to an escape room, where we crushed it and set the monthly record (they didn't keep track of all-time records but they said they expect that to stay for a while).

We then got dinner downtown and the rest of the group got desserts and dessert drinks at a dessert bar that was all unfortunately not all that good, while I headed to the Guster concert and got round 2.

All in all, a fantastic weekend in a great city we love to visit in the summer, and I got an excuse to go to a concert (twice!)
